Daily Routine
Kobe Bryant was notorious for his work ethic.
In high school, Kobe would show up to practice at 5 am and leave at 7 pm. In preparation for the 2008 Olympics, Bryant would workout for hours before dawn to maintain and improve his performance.
Bryant also made a habit of watching films of his play during halftime in order to improve his performance. He'd also regularly work with random teammates after practice to try out new moves.
To avoid injury, Bryant iced his knees multiple times a day. He was also known to follow a strict diet with little sugar and excess fat. Bryant also started to meditate regularly after Phil Jackson took over coaching of the Lakers in 2000.
