Morning

Einstein woke up between 9 am and 10 am, starting the morning with breakfast and a read of the day’s newspaper. At roughly 10:30 am, he would begin his morning commute to his office at Princeton University. If the weather was nice, Einstein would walk to work while on unpleasant days a wagon would pick him up from the local station.

Afternoon

After arriving at Princeton, Einstein would work until 1 pm before heading back home for 1:30 pm where he would have lunch, take a nap and enjoy a cup of tea. Thereafter, the late afternoon was dedicated to working at home, seeing visitors and dealing with correspondence that had been organized by his secretary earlier in the day.

Evening

Einstein typically ate supper at 6:30 pm. Afterwards, Einstein would devote the remainder of the evening undertaking more work and responding to letters.

Night

Einstein is said to have slept for 10 hours each night.
